I’m proficient in the phonics programmes used in local schools, allowing my tutoring to align closely with your child’s classroom learning. This consistency reinforces what they’re already being taught, builds confidence, and supports steady, measurable progress.

Available for students from primary through to intermediate level, my one-on-one maths tutoring covers all core areas — from building strong number foundations and problem-solving skills to developing confidence with more advanced concepts. Lessons are tailored to each child’s learning style and needs, helping them keep up in class, excel in assessments, and discover that maths can be both manageable and enjoyable

For students from intermediate level through to National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA), this personalised coaching helps develop strong writing skills for a variety of purposes, from essays and reports to creative writing and exam preparation.

I guide students through the process of planning, structuring, and refining their work, ensuring they understand how to meet the specific requirements of NCEA standards. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, improve their ability to express ideas clearly, and gain the skills to earn credits towards their qualification.

Each workshop runs for 2 hours at $40 per child, with a minimum of 5 students required for the workshop to proceed (maximum 10 students). These sessions offer a supportive, interactive environment where children can strengthen key maths skills while enjoying hands-on activities and collaborative problem-solving.
